Living in the Soviet Union in the 1960s and 1970s was less than ideal. From a failed government and Cold War concerns there was much to fear living under this fearful rule. As daily life was filled with fear as it was one more thing found itself into the broken society of a once powerful nation: The Black Volga.
The Black Volga was a mystery that spread across the nation. Not one eye witness could see the driver. Some theorize it was nuns or priest that drove the vehicle while others believe more sinister drivers such as Satan worshippers or even Lucifer himself.
The Black Volga was a very high end limousine with white curtains and rims that would appear to manifest from no where. At times the side mirrors were actually horns. When it was seen many reports show children missing and if anyone was brave enough to challenge the Volga they would be dead within 24 hours. Why the vehicle picked children as its prey no one is sure but one thing is for certain, nothing could stop it.
The legend of the Black Volga spread through Mongolia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland and Russia. An interesting side note is seeing that this type of vehicle was the most lavish and expensive available at the time it was typically driven and/or owned by Communist Party and Soviet political officials which are responsible for the nations fears.
